The Load break & Pick-up tool is a jumper clamp that functions like a portable switch.It is designed to operate on overhead distribution lines in conjunction with a mechanical jumper.
During operations such as line switching in live-line environments, arcs may occur. The tool utilizes an internal arc chamber to produce a fast-flowing air stream generated by compressed air at the moment of being on or off the switch. This accelerates the arc extinguishment process.
Additionally, the arc chamber is made of special materials that absorb arc energy, allowing the arc to be extinguished in an extremely short time, preventing damage to equipment and ensuring the safety of operators.
