On September 6, 2024, Typhoon Capricorn made landfall in Wenchang City, Hainan Province. Strong winds and heavy rains caused severe damage to local infrastructure, with the power system particularly severely damaged. A large number of utility poles collapsed, power outages occurred in many areas, and residents 'lives were significantly affected.

After the disaster occurred, the team of Guangzhou Xianheng Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd. participated in the on-site response as soon as possible. They quickly communicated with the Hangzhou headquarters to provide feedback on the disaster situation, and coordinated the deployment of needed emergency repair equipment and power generation equipment to support the front line as soon as possible.

The pole failure caused by this typhoon is very serious. However, the traditional pole pole method mainly relies on labor and basic mechanical equipment, which has low construction efficiency and high safety risks. Especially in areas where roads are damaged and vehicles cannot enter, traditional hoisting equipment is difficult to function, and emergency repair work is progressing slowly.

In response to this situation, Xianheng quickly dispatched a drilling and pole integrated machine to travel from Hunan, span more than 1400 kilometers, and arrive in the worst-hit Wenchang area within 31 hours.
